OK I may be dating myself, but I can't find it. Jalopnik had an old article about a guy who made tachometer-looking watches, I think they were handmade. Does anyone know where I can find at least a picture of that watch?
This was a pretty long time ago that the article was written about it. I am having lotsa trouble searching for it.
In fact, any auto-gage themed watch would be interesting to see, if ya'll can find any!

Thanks man. They are so sweet looking. Fairly simple too, which I like.
Unfortunately, way out of my budget range and seemingly too large for my wrist size. There's always dreaming though.

I think the a few of the ones I've got are overpriced. So this should go nicely with my collection. Nice find/memory. Great looking watch.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure if I bought a new watch I'd love to have one of them. They are super nice looking, and have that unique factor. I generally don't like things that look like what EVERYBODY else has.

yeah there's lots! I fell on this one looking randomly on ebay, then went to the manufacturer for a proper serial'd one. Can definitely vouch for Orient, I'm impressed with the quality construction

I haven't worn a watch since I was a kid. Maybe I'll eventually get back into them, not sure. But if I did, these have a compelling argument.
